If you've been enjoying Mario Kart 8 recently, then you're one of many millions of others who picked up Nintendo's big success title this year. However, it's going to need more than that if it has any chance of rivalling either of the other big console manufacturers this generation. It needs new games and it needs to market them well, which is why it's nice to see Nintendo dropping nearly eight minutes of fresh footage of new and upcoming games for its Wii U and 3DS systems at Gamescom.
There's plenty of games making an appearance in this extended preview, included Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker; Hyrule Warriors; Mario Kart 8; the teaching and playful Art Academy tool; Nintendo's poster child and colourful shooter, Splatoon; Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze; the hotly anticipated, action sequel Bayonetta 2; and of course, Super Smash Bros Wii U, among others.
The adorable Yoshi's Wooly World makes an appearance too.
What do you guys think of the trailer? Are you particularly excited for any of the titles coming out in the next year or so?
