Kingdom Come: Deliverance, in development at Warhorse, offers a magic-free medieval experience, giving you a horse and a sword and a few gold coins in your pocket, but that's all. There's no magic, no dragons, no trolls or elves, just a harsh medieval world you need to survive and fight your way through.
There's stories to be found, quests to be had and beautiful environments to explore too. In the latest ride-through of the game's main quest line, the guys at Kotaku took a look at how the game is shaping up and it looks as stunning as ever.
There's quite a detailed notoriety system in the game, which is why our Let's Player in this instance managed to turn the whole local township against him by drawing his sword in the middle of the tavern. You'll need to avoid making mistakes like that if you want to survive the world without turning everyone against you.
One other aspect of the game which is noteworthy is its emphasis on single player. In-fact there will be no multiplayer whatsoever with Kingdom Come, which is quite surprising for a contemporary game development. Still, it's exciting to know that that's where the developers are putting all of their efforts.
Do you think the game is coming together well?
