Quake Champions is bringing the Quake franchise back to the fore, with the true spirit of the arena combat system coming back to Esports and FPS in general - something that's been missing with the drive for Call of Duty like gameplay in recent years.
With that in mind, Quake Champions will have a number of new player classes for gamers to take on. In a new video, Bethesda breaks down all of the different ways players can approach the game.
Ranger is the classic human super-soldier character for the first Quake, who comes equipped with many of the classic armaments of the original game, as well as the Dire Orb, which is able to deliver a teleporting blast.
Visor, players may recognise from the third Quake game. He's a heavily augmented humanoid, with a 'piercing eye' special ability, that allows him to see through walls in a similar manner to the detective mode in recent Batman games.
Nyx, the blue haired female warrior is incredibly fast and phase in and out of reality, making it very hard to hit her. As a new character to the franchise, she's joined by Scalebearer, who's a giant tough guy who can bullrush at immense speed, while making him invulnerable for a short time period.
