Valve is planning a number of end-of-year sales, as it so often does with Steam, but as usual, we don't know when they're happening. Or at least we shouldn't. A leak from the eagle-eyed individuals running the Steam Database Twitter account has let us know exactly when we can expect Steam sales to commence, giving us a heads up for when our wallets will be obliterated entirely.
The first sale is set to begin on October 28 and run through to November 1. The Halloween sale will no doubt see a number of horror and survival games put up for cheap. Expect a few free weekend games to be made available too.
Leaked upcoming @steam_games 2019 sale dates:
Halloween Sale: October 28 - November 1
Autumn Sale: November 26 - December 3
Winter Sale: December 19 - January 2
Multiple developers posted it in multiple places despite Valve asking otherwise. But you know how that goes.— Steam Database (@SteamDB) October 19, 2019
Following that, it's just a month to wait until the Autumn sale, which Steam Database says will kick off on November 26, running all the way through to December 3. It will run in conjunction with Black Friday, so there will be some serious competition for your dollars, but likely a broader selection of games to pick from.
And from there, it's just two weeks to the start of the Winter Sale, which will start on December 19 and run all the way through Christmas and the New Year to January 2. There will no doubt be some wintery themed, advent-calendar like tie-in with inventory freebies for games. You know how it goes.
