The first Homeworld game to be released in over a decade is now available to all today and it's reviewed very well, with most hailing its return to classic gameplay and perhaps claim that it could help rejuvenate a stagnant RTS scene. However we'd be remiss if we didn't mention that the game also looks absolutely stunning, especially when at full resolution and detail.
Even zoomed in what's going on looks excellent, so when you take a step back and view it all from a distance, it really is something to behold. With that in mind, we grabbed a few of our favourite screenshots and threw them in the gallery above.
The game's flexible camera makes movement to grab stunning images a breeze and the draw distance - or at least the perception of it - is so wondrously far flung that you can see far into the distance without a noticeable drop off of visual clarity as you go.
We particularly like some of the night shots PCGamesN was able to capture. Kudos for those ones.
Have any of you taken a stab at Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak yet? If so, what did you think?
