If you're planning to download the upcoming Star Wars: Battlefront on launch day, make sure your hard drive has a chunk of space on it, whether it's inside a PS4 or a Xbox One, or indeed on an SSD on your much more powerful PC.
On that hallowed desktop/laptop platform, gamers can expect to have to sit through downloads reaching 27GB in size, while their console counterparts can look forward to a 23GB download on the PS3 and a 19GB install size on the Xbox One.
While the PC version will require the biggest download, it also mandates that you have Origin installed as well, as EA will serve the game through its own digital download platform.
Hurray.
This was all announced on the official EAStarWars Twitter account, so it's all official and above board. None of it is too surprising and in-fact, in some senses the download isn't that bad considering we've seen a number of 50GB+ installs over the past year or two.
Star Wars: Battlefront launches on all platforms on November 20. Get your blaster fingers ready.
