Thanks to their outrageous price tag and giant viewing audience, Superbowl commercials remain a bit of an art-form - even if almost everyone has some measure of fast forwarding through them. Which clearly Gearbox has been studying for decades, as it's released its own Superbowl commercial - that didn't air, of course - to advertise Borderlands, The Handsome Collection.
Unlike a lot of publications which seem to feel it's necessary to walk their readers through what it is that Gearbox intended with such an advert, we'll simply point out that jokes aside, you can get that remote control Claptrap. You will have to buy the limited edition of The Handsome Collection to get it, but it's doable.
If you do, you'll also get 12 exclusive "lithographs," of the games' Vault Hunters and a fancy steel case to keep it in.
Whether you buy that, or the standard edition though, both come with Borderlands 2, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and all the DLC for both games. They also come with the ability to play four player split-screen, and you even import your saves to pick up where you left off if it's been a while since you shot something in Pandora.
