Netherealm Studio's Injustice 2 has been a very well received addition to the stacked beat'em up genre but the developers aren't stopping there. Despite the fleshed out roster of DC characters and a few extras from alternate dimensions, there are some other characters coming down the pipeline. One of the first of those is Red Hood and now we have our first look at the man, thanks to a new trailer and in-game footage of him in action.
Red Hood, who is very much not Red Skull or Deadshot, is a pistol toting, red-mask-wearing badass with a variety of ranged weaponry and up close martial skills, making him more than a match for Batman, Robin, The Joker and a number of other enemies in this trailer - though he'll have to face off against more now that he's jointed the main roster.
As impressive as his various skills are though, his finishing super move is quite spectacular. Throwing grenades with abandon, he uses his dual pistols to propel enemies into those various explosives, as well as detonating them in turn. It's a rather impressive way to round out a match and seal the victory.
Red Hood is now available on various platforms to download for a few dollars.
