In a case of wondering just how many layers deep the Pokemystery goes, the upcoming Pokémon Sun and Moon's new Pokedex is a Pokemon itself, marking a first for the series and more than a few questions of how that will work in game and in the game's lore itself.
While we say it's a Pokémon, that is true, but in actuality this particular Pokémon is the kind found in human-made items. As EG reports this Pokémon can actually turn into other items too. As well as a Pokédex it can also turn into a fridge, an oven and a lawn mower.
The fact that the Pokédex is living and communicable with does open up some interesting aspects of the Pokémon world though. For starters, you can ask it where to go if you're feeling stuck.
You can watch this sort of interaction and more in the latest trailer release for Sun and Moon, showing off other new Pokémon, new areas, new characters to play with and more.
Pokémon Sun and Moon launches this November 18 on Nintendo's 3DS, with the usual split versions offering a few different Pokémon and features.
