Sony Computer Entertainment announced that the full PlayStation Network functionality will be restored in Japan on July 6th, a full two months after the outage started on the 6th of April.
The service has already been restored in North America and Europe earlier, but the Japanese Ministry of Economy refused to allow the service restoration in the Asian country before Sony provided them with enough info about the measures it employed to enhance the system's security.
PSN services were partially restored in Japan last month, with the PlayStation Store and content downloading still not accessible.
