While we await Sony's release of the highly anticipated KillZone 3 multiplayer demo, why not spend the time productively reviewing the wonders the game claims it will unleash?
The title of the demo, of this story too, gives away much of what you can expect, this is a multiplayer demo; with that established, looking for what to expect and examining what the demo gives away about the game becomes a more delicate process.
To confuse us further, Sony is releasing three multiplayer modes and an offline mode so some evidence of what loners can expect will be present too.
Multiplayer will get the necessary Team Deathmatch mode, Guerilla Warfare for 16 players, WarZone, returning from KZ2, will allow 24 players to play five randomly presented mini-missions and Operations will allow 16 players to dive into the KZ3 storyline and play related mini-missions.
The offline mode, BotZone, will be your killing fields, an area where you can experiment with the controls and mould your hands to the right shape for furious multiplayer mayhem.
The demo will feature a single map but Sony has been quick to suggest that it is a very large one and enough to keep all of us busy until the demo expires on February 15th.
If you still need more info, root out a Playstation Plus subscriber as they had (still have) exclusive access to this demo for some time now and should be able to spoil all surprises for you.
