Now that the next gen Xbox SDKs have reached developers hand (supposedly, in secret), the first solid info about that Kinect 2 motion controller has made its way to the internet.
A Twitter user that goes by the handle "DaE," has leaked a photo of the second generation Kinect controller. The photo is available in the image gallery.
The photo seems to confirm earlier reports that Kinect 2 will have higher resolution sensors that enable it to track individual finger movements, read lips and gauge moods.
According to our hardware experts, Kinect 2 will not be compatible with existing Xbox 360 consoles since its standard USB port cannot handle data rates beyond those of the current Kinect.
The authenticity of the leaked photo was confirmed by The Verge.
