Over the years it's grown the pro-gaming scene along with it and today tens of millions continue to play it all over the world.
Those players make up some 26.42 percent of all gaming traffic, according to PCGamesN. To give that some contest, Fortnite only accounts for some 15 percent of gaming traffic, while Overwatch reaches just 12 percent.
If you're wondering how this can be when none of your friends play LoL anymore, it should perhaps come as no surprise that Eastern markets are a major source of this traffic.
