Legend of Zelda Clue board game announced

A Legend of Zelda-themed version of Clue, or Cluedo for our European readers, has been announced. It features a number of mainstays from the series as playable characters, a number of weapon options and instead of a creepy old mansion, it's Hyrule itself that players will explore to figure out who has the power to defeat Ganondorf once and for all.

Unlike typical games of Clue, which are all about murder and figuring out who did it, in this rendition of the game players need to figure out who isn't powerful enough to fight Gannon and then eventually, who is. To do so they'll need to eliminate the possibility of others, hence the Clue-style exploration and note taking.

The game features a number of unique accessories, including six weapon options, six playable characters on metal stands, 16 "boss encounter" cards and a unique game board.

The artwork looks pretty good, though who thought Zelda would be a good fit for Clue is another thing entirely.

You can pre-order the game now from Merchoid, though the game won't be available until June 30.
