If you never enjoyed the portable-exclusive entry in the Grand Theft Auto series, called Liberty City Stories, now may be the time to do so, as the game has been ported into GTA: San Andreas thanks to the efforts of a dedicated modding team by the name of Royal Game Army Ranger Studio, as per PCGamesN. Purportedly work on the mod ceased in 2008, but was picked up again this year and it's now ready for wider consumption.
Liberty City Stories is set in 1998 and follows the tale of Antonio Cipriani and his rise through... you guessed it, the local crime family in Liberty City. In terms of features, it's like an expanded and improved-upon GTA III, so it's in the same locale as that game, but with a greater variety of buildings to enter, the ability to ride motorcycles, and an update to the game's look to make it contemporary with the setting.
If you want to be one of the first to enjoy this mod, you'll need to have GTA: San Andreas installed, and download the mod from ModDB. The game should run pretty smoothly, but the mod developers have promised post-release patches, so keep your eye on the database if you run into any problems, they should be sorted out in short order.
