If there's one standard that's been maintained across all of the years of high-end League of Legends competition, it's that anyone is beatable on the right day. Even the best teams in the world have never been able to go a whole season without dropping a single game. That's what makes the achievements of current League standouts Fnatic so impressive, as that's exactly what they've done, going 18-0 throughout the summer split.
A long standing League of Legends team, Fnatic was formed back in 2011 from players from all over the world and even won the Year 1 Riot Championship, before the formation of the World Championships that we know and love today.
However it's struggled in recent years to maintain its high level competition, despite consistently making it to every LCS final. Last year they only reached 13-16th, but this year things may prove different since they enter the final leg of the competition in a prime position.
This is even more impressive when you consider that almost all players are relative new comers to the Fnatic team, with Huni, Reign over, Steelback and Febiven all joining at the beginning of the year.
