Although the world and his dog of Apple users are still trying to figure out a particularly useful reason to have a slim touch-bar across the top of their MacBook keyboard, there are plenty out there who have made fun little apps that make it look cool at least.
The latest addition which is taking the MacBook users' world by storm, is the introduction of a Lemmings app, which lets the little blue-suited, green-haired fellas waltz across the touchbar, performing all manner of old-school actions, from walking, to stopping at the touch of a finger.
This may be the best app I've ever built pic.twitter.com/Z9WJi7e74G

Developed by Twitter user and iOS engineer, Erik Olsson, the app is entirely interactive, so you can add commands to the Lemmings' repertoires. They're quite limited for now, but there are of course many animations and tasks that Olsson can draw from to expand their abilities. Indeed many of his followers have suggested as such, so we wouldn't be surprised to see this make a pretty big leap in functionality following all of the attention it's garnered him.
If you have a new MacBook and want to try the app out yourself, you can download it from GitHub.
