A far cry from its predecessors who used to sell millions of units, the recently released Tony Hawk: Shred has sold less than 3000 units across platforms during its first week in the US.
Another game that underperformed during the same period was EA's latest Medal Of Honor which sold slightly more than 1 million units during October 2010, short of EA's expectations of selling 1.5 million units.
EA's newest sports franchise, EA Sports MMA was also disappointing with 45,000 units sold over the same period.
Tony Hawk: Shred developer Robomodo has fired 60 employees last month, revealing that it would no longer be working on the franchise.
