Microsoft has issued a statement to Xbox fans with a simple request: "please do not blow vape smoke into your Xbox Series X." While that might seem like an obvious thing not to do, it's become a bit of a memable action among Xbox Gamers, who noticed that if you exhale into the bottom vents, the vaporized "smoke" will exhaust out of the top of the system. It does look kind of cool, but beyond that? It's only going to lead to bad times.
This originally came up when some users started posting videos claiming that the Xbox Series X was running so hot that it was smoking. This was quickly debunked, however, when it was shown how easy it was to blow your exhaled vapors into the lower vents to have them appear through the top vents like smoke. Now a lot of people are doing it, it seems, enough that Microsoft felt compelled to make a statement.
We can't believe we have to say this, but please do not blow vape smoke into your Xbox Series X.

It's unlikely that doing this would significantly harm the console initially, but moisture is never good for electronics, and the residue left by it could eventually lead to gunky fans and reduced cooling potential, possibly culminating in worse performance, or crashes.
Don't vape into your gaming systems guys.
