Is your mom a gamer? Here's your chance to show her some Mother's Day love and take a shot at winning Mother's Day flowers for your mom and an Xbox 360™ Elite system for yourself!
Microsoft has announced a new contest where contestants are required to submit stories about their Gamer Moms. The best story wins an Xbox Elite for the contestant and a $100 flower bouquet for his mom.
Here's how it works: Write an original essay about your mother (or female legal guardian) and gaming. Is your mom a lifelong gamer, or new to gaming? What games does she play? Does she support your gaming habit? Is she a n00b, or can she hold her own? Do you play together?
Your essay should be at least 250 words, but no more than 500 words, and must be received by 11:59 P.M. Pacific Time on May 6, 2007. Essays should be emailed to xlmail@microsoft.com. Be sure to use the subject line "My Mom's a Gamer" and don't forget to include your gamertag.
Evaluation will be 50% on creativity and originality, 25% appeal to Xbox.com readers and 25% on the effectiveness of conveying respect and admiration for your mom/female legal guardian.
