Microsoft Confirms DirectX 12 For Windows 10 Launch

Microsoft confirmed that its upcoming Windows 10 will ship with DirectX 12.

In a blog post on the company's Developers' Network, Microsoft announced that gamers who join the Windows Insiders program can try out the performance improvements introduced by the new API right now. The company also affirmed that game developers who join the early access program will receive everything they need to kickstart their DX12 development.

Additionally, game developers who join Windows 10 Early Access program and Unreal Engine subscription program will get access to the DirectX 12 version of the graphics engine.
