Xbox LIVE cloud Save features went down for a few hours for some Xbox LIVE user during the weekend and Microsoft is offering them one month of Xbox LIVE Gold membership for free as compensation.
Cloud Save is a feature that allows players to save their games progress online so that they’d have access to them from different consoles. Most Xbox LIVE users were not affected by the service disruption. Affected users couldn’t access their online saves for up to 48 hours at worst.
Affected users don’t have to do anything to get their compensation.
