Midnight Club II officially received its release dates for XBox and PC at E3, with the Xbox version of the game hitting retailers on June 4th and the PC version following on June 25th. The real news released during the show however, was the number of modifications and improvements made to the game for its venture into the new platforms.
Some of the changes, confirmed for the XBox include updated vehicle models, environments, higher-resolution textures, and better effects and lighting throughout, along with Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound and widescreen.
Both PC and XBox versions will also feature a variety of multiplayer modes. Owners of MS's green beast will get four-player split-screen and Xbox Live support while PC owners will enjoy eight player LAN and online play.
