Despite being one of the most successful gaming companies in the world for the past few years, generating hundreds of millions of dollars, selling out to Microsoft for over a billion and building a blocky game that would inspire tens of knockoffs and derivatives, Mojang hasn't been the most active developer.
Sure it's maintained Minecraft, made the (now no longer updated) Scrolls and collaborated with Telltale for a story mode of its original classic, but it's not been as prolific with game releases as other companies.
Now though we will get to see its third game, Cobalt, in just a few weeks' time, as it's set to launch this February.
The game will have players battling AI and each other in cartoonish sci-fi environments, rolling, shooting, and blasting their way through levels and maps with a number of diferent weapons and defensive measures to employ.
Cobalt will launch on PC and Xbox One on February 2.
