It's been a long time since arcade cabinets were the way most of the world experienced video games. In-fact, most people don't even know where their local arcade is, but there are still a good number around in bowling alleys and the like. With that in mind, the game makers of the world can't just leave those establishments with old Time Crisis 2 cabinets can they? They have to make new ones.
That's what was shown off at the recent EAG 2015, with ArcadeHeroes nabbing some images of the game's in action.
One of the most popular on the day was understandably, Time Crisis 5, which - bizarrely - has graphics that would have looked passable on an Xbox 360.
Other hyped games include the new Mario Kart DX arcade machine systems. Expect something to be broken on them by the time you get to play on it though - that's always been the way when I've played anyway.
Showing that there's still life in an old IP, there's a new Jurassic Park turret shooter game too - which again looks like it was made for some last-gen console.
You'd think that the arcade developers would just make games that are built for a new-gen console and put one of those inside a cabinet.
