Sony has managed to produce the world's thinnest and most flexible OLED display to date. The new screen is 80μm thick - just a bit thinner than a human hair - and is so flexible, it can be rolled around a pencil while streaming video.
The screen hasn't reached production quality yet as it suffers from visible horizontal and vertical line artifacts. The 4.1 inches prototype enjoys a static contrast ratio of 1000:1 and a resolution of 432 x 320.
