An internal survey conducted by Nintendo found that 46% of Americans aging between 6 and 74 years old have used a Nintendo Wii or DS at least once in the past year.
The survey also found that - of the same age group - 62% have played console games at all.
After introducing the aforementioned findings, Nintendo's president Satoru Iwata noted that - despite declining unit sale this years - Wii audience has increased by almost 25% to reach 100 million users.
