Despite nobody expected it, nonetheless Nintendo volunteered to confirm that there will be no price cut for Wii in the US "for the foreseeable future".
"We'll stay at $249 for the foreseeable future. We are still selling everything we can make," said outgoing Nintendo of America senior vice president of marketing George Harrison told Reuters.
This is hardly a surprise considering the ongoing Wii shortage which Nintendo expects to continue through Christmas.
Harrison's statement seems to apply only to USA, but feel free to expect the same thing worldwide.
