To celebrate The Legend of Zelda's 30th anniversary, Nintendo released some of the artwork used to design the first game in the series.
The original Legend of Zelda's world was rendered as a set of square tiles, and it is fascinating to see how those was actually hand-drawn on graph paper. The artwork provided by Nintendo was drawn by the hands of some of the world's most renowned game designers, including Shigeru Miyamoto and Takashi Tezuka. They also include the game's full map, including several secrets.
