Wii Ware, Nintendo's Xbox Live and Playstation Network equivalent, was announced back in June and will launch in 2008, but it has already secured more than 100 proposals from established developers as well as independent developers with small budgets.
"We've already received proposals for over 100 titles from software development companies," Satoru Iwata, President of Nintendo said at a press conference. "We've made a platform for developing software at low cost, and would like to offer a new business chance based around a battle of ideas."
Games currently announced for Wii Ware include Pokemon Ranch Channel, Dr. Mario, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles and Bomberman.
