Nintendo has released lifetime sales figures for a number of its most prominent Wii, DS and 3DS games.
The data, which was released as part of the company's financial results briefing for the last fiscal year, revealed that the most successful Nintendo Wii game is Wii Sports which sold 79.60 million units; the most successful DS game is New Super Mario Bros. which sold 29.09 million units; and the most successful 3DS game is Super Mario 3D Land which sold 5.84 million units. (It is worth noting that Wii Sports is usually bundled with Wii hardware).
