Nintendo promised earlier that it would reveal the Nintendo Switch's price during an event in Japan on January 12th, 2017. However, we no longer have to wait till then as the price has already been spilled by Toys-R-Us Canada.
The Canadian store now lists Nintendo Switch for CAD 329.99 which amounts to £194 GBP, $244 USD, or €225 EUR. Of course those money conversions don't take into account factors such as the differences in overseas shipping costs, customs, taxes and plain old market price segmentation. It is no secret that most consoles and electronic gadgets retail at higher prices in Europe simply because people there are willing to pay more for them. Nonetheless, those numbers give a solid guide for the price we should expect.
