Now you and your buddies can ride dinos in ARK

ARK: Survival Evolved has been a bit hit with those that love survival gameplay, love shooting their friends and most of all, love dinosaurs. They've been able to stab them, shoot them, tame them and in the case of the bigger ones, ride them around too. Many an evening of the last few months has seen players riding troops of their favourite flesh-tearers around.

But sadly, as big as some dinosaurs can get, there just aren't any that players can ride on together. That is until now.

With the release of the latest patch, Studio Wildcard added the Gallimimus, which can not only carry more than one person on its back, but can do so faster than any other dinosaur in the game. It's not great at fighting, but the Gallimimus will get you where you need to go and fast, making it perfect for travelling between bases or outposts around the island.

To put it into context, its base speed is even quicker than that of the kangaroo, so with a little training and a not-too-hefty individual on its back and you can really book it when sitting astride one of these.

Showing up in Patch 233, the update also adds a new armored suit, as well as a cattle-prod, which may make taming easier, but should also go down quite well as a way to subdue your enemies long enough to really screw with their day.
