The Galactic Empire or the Jedi Order. If you had $1,150 to spend on a graphics card, which side would you choose? It doesn't matter much in terms of performance, but if you fancied buying the Star Wars Collector's Edition Titan XP graphics card from Nvidia, whichever one you pick will mean a unique look and lighting set up.
Nvidia's Titan XP is still the most powerful consumer-facing graphics card out there, no matter what the $3,000 prosumer Volta Titan V card would have you think. Now you can buy one with a unique Star Wars theme and it's actually slightly cheaper than the Founders Edition card that's been available for the past few months.
Both versions come with 12GB of GDDR5X memory, a powerful Pascal core that sports 3,840 CUDA cores and a boosted clock speed as high as 1,582Mhz. But if you were considering buying a Titan XP then you already knew that, because these specs are no different from the standard edition of the card. What is different are the looks.
Shipped out in a fancy collector's box, the Jedi Order version features green backlighting and a larger side-window to show off the many fins of the aluminum heatsink under the hood. There's also a Jedi Order logo in the center of the main fan so that everyone knows which side you're on. The Galactic Empire version, on the other hand, comes with a little more metalwork along the sides for a more industrial look and has red lighting instead. It also sports a Galactic Empire logo on its fan.
Both cards feature a "Star Wars" logo on the backplate and are priced at $1,138. There's a limit of two per customer, but I doubt many of you are buying one, let alone two of these monstrous cards.
