nVvidia officialy announced that the Company's newest mobile graphics processing unit (GPU), the NVIDIA GeForce FX Go5700, will soon be offered in the leading notebooks from manufacturers worldwide, including: Alienware, Compal, FIC, Toshiba's Digital Products Division, Quanta, Uniwill and others to be announced later.
This worldwide endorsement of the GeForce FX Go5700 is an nVidia show of industry strength and in-part, an attempt to strengthen confidence in nVidia products, confidence which has been shaken by a variety of desktop incidents. nVidia aim to re-affirm their position in the market which has been questioned by ATI, in the desktop field and, most recently, by Futuremark in its ongoing unofficial dispute with the company.

We are very excited with the new notebooks they will build around the GeForce FX Go5700.
