With Nvidia set to officially unveil its next-generation graphics cards in just a few hours, the leaks of information have turned into a torrent. On the eve of the GPU revelation, we know what the specifications for the 2070, 2080, and 2080 Ti graphics cards will be in broad strokes and they leave us rather excited about what's to come.
Revealed by WCCFTech and its various sources, the dual-fan-cooled RTX 2080 Ti is the flagship card of the new generation and will release alongside its more mid-range counterparts with a price of around $900. It will feature 4,352 CUDA cores and will have 6MB of level two cache. Its memory will be 11GB of GDDR6, offering 616 GBps of bandwidth through its 352-bit memory interface. Only AMD's Fury X cards can rival that sort of bandwidth. The 2080 Ti's TDP is 250w.
The 2080 will reduce things down to 2,944 CUDA cores with 8GB of GDDR6. Its 256-bit memory interface gives it 448 GBps of total bandwidth, but it only requires 210w to power it and will have a price tag of $700 at launch.
The 2070, however, is arguably the most exciting of the new GPUs though, as it's one that average gamers will be able to afford. With a suggested launch price of $400 for the Founders Edition, it will have 2,304 CUDA cores, 8GB of GDDR6 and with slighly slower, 12 Gbps memory chips, its bandwidth will be around 384 GBps. Its TDP will only be 180w too, but it will release a little later in September.
The more entry level cards, the RTX 260 and RTX 2050 will have 5GB and 4GB of GDDR6 a piece and will have price tags of $300 and $150 respectively. They are slated to release in October and November.
