Independent game development studio, Digital Extremes and global interactive game publisher, Groove Games debuted an impressive playable demo of the recently announced and already highly anticipated new first-person action game, Pariah. The game, originally announced for the Xbox and the personal computer, is now also in development for the PlayStation 2.
Groove and Digital Extremes have chosen the well-known game physics-phenom team Pseudo Interactive to bring Pariah to the PlayStation 2. The Toronto-based developer has made a name for itself in the infinitely complex world of dynamic gaming physics. They recently made a big splash at the Game Developers Conference in San Jose with their Microsoft XNA Crash Demo, which sent a brilliantly rendered Saleen S7 at top-speed into a wall, crash-test style, highlighting their latest feat in realistic interactive game physics.
The game focuses on a robust immersive storyline that weaves survival elements into the traditional run-and-gun style of first-person action games. More details on Pariah are being revealed at this week's trade show event E3 in Los Angeles. In addition, fans can access more information at the official website, available by following the download tab above.
