People really need to stop threatening gamers with guns

Remember just a few days ago when a man who threatened to gun down Pokémon Go players was arrested? It turns out that threatening gun violence online is one swift way to have the police show up and detain you. Once again a man has come out publicly and threatened individuals, this time at Blizzard, and what do you know, he's been arrested.

This time around it was a 28 year old named Stephen Cebula, who threatened to:

"May or may not pay [Blizzard] a visit with an AK-47 amongst some other ‘fun’ tools," as well as that he "might be inclined to cause a disturbance at [Blizzard's] headquarters in California with an AK47."

Detailing your ownership of an illegal weapon isn't a great way to stay free either, so it's no surprise that in short order the police turned up and arrested Mr Cebula, following an investigation by the FBI. He's now been indicted by the jury, so it could well be that Cebula ends up with five years in jail - there's a potential quarter million dollars of fines waiting for him too.

As Kotaku points out, we unfortunately have no idea what it is that annoyed Mr Cebula so much, but you can imagine it was something to do with a recent patch that Blizzard released which he felt personally attacked his gaming experience.
