The recent release of Wrath Of The Lich King expansion for World of Warcraft raised the game's level cap from 70 to 80, providing at least 27 more gameplay hours for veteran WoW players.
27 hours is exactly the time it took French player Nymh, a warlock on the European server Drek'thar, to reach the new level limit.
"The biggest problem was to find a spot with enough monsters to grind without too much downtime", Nymh said. "I spent some time on beta servers and eventually found the crypt in Drakil'ji Ruins (Grizzly Hills), I think that's one of the only place[s] in Wrath of the Lich King where monsters repop in about 30 seconds, mobs here are also neutral and it makes grinding a little safer."
But, of course, such an achievement couldn't have been done by a single adventurer. Nymh admitted that his friend Pavelomm "was nice enough to spend the last 27 hours healing me" and that "he obviously played a huge role in the process."
