Reports are circulating that hackers have managed to use the compromised Playstation 3 root keys to create an application that can unlock all the Trophies in PS3 games and sync them to the Playstation Network so that they'd appear in the cheater's Trophy list.
Users on one hacking forum have admitted using the app, called "PS3 Unlocker", to unlock 100% of BUZZ Quiz TV's trophies. However, the users also reported that some games such as Resident Evil 5 and Batman: Arkham Asylum have resisted the hack for unknown reason.
Sony has acknowledged the problem and responded with its typical canned response: "We are aware of this, and are currently looking into it. We will fix the issues through network updates, but because this is a security issue, we are not able to provide you with any more details."
It is worth noting that the previous statement is the exact same one Sony issued regarding the leaked PS3 root keys.
