When you play Prison Architect, discovering some of the weapons, items and escape tools that prisoners might have hidden around their cells and person is one of your biggest challenges, but it turns out there are other secrets to discover in the Introversion Software title.
No we're not talking about some aspect of escape mode, there's an entirely new 3D perspective that is seemingly in the works, but you can activate it now.
Discovered by Youtuber TheLogicalLowdown, the 3D mode can be turned on via the extras menu, through a little button that is almost entirely greyed out. It's near impossible to see unless you carefully roll over it, but if you click it, it switches your entire prison into three dimensions. There's models for almost everything - there's still a few unfinished 2D structures stuck to the floor - but opens up a whole new way to play the game.
This also makes me wonder if we're looking at a potential VR version of Prison Architect not far down the road.
What do you think of the new perspective? And would you play a PA VR game?
