With their launch dates so close together and their rivalry well documented, it was a matter of time before analysts begun making direct comparisons of Sony's PS3 and Nintendo's Wii, even though the two consoles are very different beasts.
Whether the two companies accept it or not, their products will be competing, especially when considering that many of the titles that will be available on the one platform will also be available on the other. Wedbush Morgan Securities, an analyst group, have issued a report which lists the full launch line-up for each console and in some cases even includes sales predictions for each title. Now, considering the availability issues that will be plaguing Sony and the plethora of Wii's heading our way it is hard for us to understand how the esteemed analysts have concluded that Call of Duty 3 will sell 600,000 copies on PS3 and 200,000 on Wii.
