Despite the game not being released anywhere in the world until tomorrow and not on this side of the pond until next Tuesday - because of course games should be released nowhere near the weekend when us working types can enjoy them - today sees the debut of Rayman Legends' launch trailer and it's filled with action packed, gameplay action.
As you might expect, it's filled with lots of running and jumping as with most platformers, but we also get a quick look at some of the game's unique challenges, huge bosses and fast paced advancing-wall levels.
Pre-release review scores for the game also appear near the start and as you might expect from a trailer so happy to show them off, they're all excellent. While the PS3 and Wii U versions of the game have slightly better scores than those of its Xbox and PC counterparts, almost everyone is giving this thing 9/10 or more.
The story is a simple one. Rayman and his pals, Globox, and the Teensies, have been sleeping for over a century and in that time, the evil of the world, Bubble Dreamer's nightmares, have grown in strength and threaten the fate of everyone. Of course it's up to Rayman to stop them.
Rayman Legends is available for PC, Wii U, PS3, PS Vita and Xbox 360 as of next Tuesday, September 3rd.
