Razer is one of the first companies out of the gate with its own keyboard and mouse designed specifically for use on the Xbox One. This isn't one of those modded in options where you're using a passthrough cable or a little box to make an unauthorized control scheme translate to gamepad inputs. This is an official keyboard developed with Microsoft's blessing for its newly added keyboard and mouse support option on the Xbox platform.
To react to this release so quickly, Razer has retooled its existing Turret keyboard and mouse combination and made it into an Xbox-specific version. It combines a standard Razer mechanical keyboard with RGB backlighting and a Razer Mamba mouse. Both items are completely wireless and can connect directly to your Xbox One with up to 40 hours of use between full charges.
The only real downside to it is the price. At $250 this combination is rather expensive. It's not vastly different from what the Turret cost when it was first released as a lap-gaming input device for the living room, but it's not ideal.
Still, for those who would rather play Xbox games with the best input mechanisms available, you can now do so in certain games. Current titles that support the keyboard and mouse include Fortnite, Warframe, and War Thunder. Other games like Vermintide 2, Strange Brigade, Bomber Crew, Deep Rock Galactic and X-Morph Defense, will all be getting mouse and keyboard support soon if they haven't already by the time you read this.
Razer's new Xbox Turret will be released early in the new year.
