Rob Zombie, Tony Moore team up for AC: Unity back story cartoon

If you've been wondering what the back story for the bloody setting in Assassin's Creed Unity is all about, then you're in luck, as twinning with Ubisoft, musician and director Rob Zombie, has teamed up with Walking Dead artist Tony Moore, to provide an illustrated comic/cartoon of the French Revolution.

It was a time of wealth disparity, of corruption and self service. But it would soon become the time of the guillotine, as the French people made it clear through blood and sacrifice, that they would only take so much from their so called leaders.

As time went on however, the revolution became something more than a war for food and respect, it became a war for justice, which didn't end well for those in power.

It didn't end there though, as there was a traitor of the revolution in the midst. Seizing power as the old guard fell, he tore into his supporters with suspicion and executions, tearing apart families and the revolutionaries themselves.

But of course he didn't last long either.

Assassin's Creed Unity is set for release worldwide on Xbox One, PS4, and PC on October 28.
