Rocket League is a high-octane, fast-paced game of tactics, skill and gutsy plays and can be non-stop from the moment the first whistle blows to the final one. However once it's all over, the end can be a bit anti-climatic. It just sort-of, stops.
Not any more though, as Pysonix has tweaked what you see at the end. Along with the stats to let you know who scored what, the winning team will now be celebrated by a winners' screen, giving you a break down of who was the best striker, the best defender and so-on.
It looks far more engaging and offers a more exciting way to recap the match than simply stating the numbers behind it all as was the norm previously.
Some other titles dished out to those who earn them include:
Benchwarmer – Fewest Ball Hits
Prodigy – Score 3 or more goals
Speed Demon – Most Boost Pickups
Traitor – Score an own goal
Warden – Make 3 or more saves
This update will be applied in June according to Kotaku, so we don't have long to wait before the end of a RL match becomes that bit more exciting.
I'm going to have to get back and work on my aerial skills.
