Remember when Rockstar made great expansions for its games on a regular basis? While more recently it might be better known for asking you to pay tens of dollars for new vehicles and outfits in its money-spinning GTA Online game mode for GTA V, Rockstar is hearkening back to one of its most beloved expansions, The Ballad of Gay Tony, with its brand new DLC release: GTA Online: After Hours.
Slated to debut on July 24, the new gameplay expansion brings back the character from that beloved DLC. Gay Tony, as he's known, purports to be planning to bring his club-running expertise from decades past to bear on the modern world and woe betide those who get in his way. Naturally, you'll be tasked with helping him fulfil his dream of nightclub superstardom in the 21st century.
Set up raves in the middle of nowhere, fly in talent from around the world, find Gay Tony a goddamn DJ and you'll have a new business venture to help you earn all the money you need.
This springboards off of the back of the player-run nightclubs Rockstar introduced earlier this year and could expand on the idea of money laundering through these semi-legitimate ventures in the future.
