The first Kinect for Windows devices are scheduled for launch next Wednesday (February 1st, 2012), and news are out that Microsoft is already working in secret with Asus to have a version integrated in Windows-based laptops as well.
According to TheDaily, Asus has already created at least 2 Microsoft-indorsed prototypes for laptops with built-in Kinect sensors.
"The devices, which at first glance appear to be Asus netbooks running Windows 8, feature an array of small sensors stretching over the top of the screen where the webcam would normally be. At the bottom of the display is a set of what appear to be LEDs," TheDaily described the prototypes they saw.
