Sean Bean might as well come cloaked and carrying a sickle when he shows up in a popular series or movie nowadays, as he's died in enough that people expect him to croak the second he appears on screen. Still, when he's narrating something, it seems like he has a higher chance of survival, as he manages to make it all the way through the new Kholat trailer without biting the dust.
Kholat is an exploratory horror game, based around the Dyatlov Pass incident, which saw nine hikers mysteriously die in 1959 while travelling through the region that would be one day named after the group's leader. In the game, it's your task to investigate the area afterwards to find out just what happened.
The game has been in development for a couple of years and is set for release on June 10th. It will features "several hours," of gameplay according to the creators and takes place on an open world map. However gameplay is said to not focus on any particular style and will require players to use their intelligence and imagination to proceed.
Bean will also narrate throughout. What's the bet that he turns out to be dead at the end?
