The Video game industry is serious bussiness. Men in suits are in charge of a billion dollar market and what is their successful market strategy you ask?
It's all in the tongue. In an ingenious strategic move, Sega sent press analysts and retail stores a postcard offering condolensces with the following message "Our deepest condolences to Sony on their PS2 shipping difficulties."
Have a look at the image on the postcard, it is necessary so you get a clear understanding of the pain and sympathy Sega felt for Sony's problem.
The postcard also featured in Gameweek magazine and on a billboard truck which drove around San Francisco and lingered outside Sony's Metreon shopping center, home to the only Playstation store.
This just in, Sega's daddy is in fact stronger then Sony's and does drive a police car.
